Fay Jia, of Murrieta, and Ally Kim, of Yorba Linda, were crowned victorious at the SCGA Women’s Four-Ball Championship at Black Gold GC after shooting 62-67 in final round to finish 15-under-par.
The duo led the field early with a sizzling opening round of 62 (30 on the front nine) and never looked back. Fay Jia carded a 64 on her own with six birdies and an eagle to anchor their 10-under score after 18 holes.
The hot start on Friday for Jia and Kim helped propel their second trip across the course where they combined for five birdies and maintained the lead against sisters Victoria and Vanessa Richani, who finished an impressive 13-under-par. The Richani sisters kept the pressure on with four team birdies and an eagle in their final round, finishing just two shots back.
Jia and Kim’s two-day total of 129 left them atop the leaderboard, cementing first-ever wins for 15-year-old Jia and 17-year-old Kim in the 2025 SCGA Women’s Four-Ball Championship.
