Eric Choi etched his name in history as the first player ever to win the SCGA One-Day Series Championship multiple times, reclaiming the title he first captured in 2023.
After stroke play on day one, the field was cut to just eight players and set up a single elimination match play format for the final two days.
In the Quarterfinals Choi started off strong, earning a 4 & 2 win to advance to the semifinals. After a quick break, Choi remained hot and finished in 16 holes again and clinched a 3 & 2 victory to advance to the final match against Mark Pizano.
Choi carried his momentum, winning four of the first five holes to go 4 up. From there, he never looked back, closing out the match 4 & 3 after drilling a 15-foot birdie putt on the 15th hole.
