Dick Engel and Jason Pridmore came out on top of a tightly contested SCGA Senior Foursomes Championship taking place at Industry Hills GC (The Babe). The dynamic duo had a roller coaster of a two days en route to claiming top honors at the championship.
Engel and Pridmore found themselves tied for the lead after the first round at two-under with the team of Gregory Sato and Tim Hogarth with both teams carding four birdies during their opening round.
As the final round reached its halfway point, both teams remained tied at two-under with only nine holes to go. Clutch birdies on holes 11 and 16 for the team of Engel and Pridmore were enough to hold off the team of Sato and Hogarth to win the championship by a single stroke. Engel and Pridmore secured the victory with a two-day score of even par while Sato and Hogarth would finish runner-up at one-over. Mark Miller and Dan Sullivan would take home third place at three-over after shooting par on the final day.
