Shelly Haywood is the 2025 Senior Women’s Amateur Champion.
Haywood was two strokes back from Wendy Ohlmeyer going into the final round, and was two-under on her last seven holes which extended the match. It came down to the last hole in regulation where Ohlmeyer made a birdie to force a playoff.
This was a familiar position for Haywood as she was in this exact circumstance last year but fell just short on the first playoff hole. This year, Haywood kept fighting until the very last shot and is going home with the trophy.
Super Senior Women's Amateur Championship
Alongside the Women's Amateur Championship, Tina Barker wins the first ever Super Senior Women’s Amateur Championship at Temecula Creek GC.
Barker finished the inaugural event 22-over-par and captured the win in the four-player field.
