The Women’s Amateur Net Championship was conducted alongside the Senior Women’s Amateur Championship at Soule Park, bringing together women of all skill levels from across the Southland. The 33-player field was split into two flights as two emerged to take home the top honors.
Arroyo Flight
Hyunee Kim got off to a hot start with a net-68 in the first round, but she was still two strokes behind the clubhouse leader, Didde Chastain. It became a two-horse race between the pair and Kim emerged victorious with a net-77 on her final day to win the Arroyo flight. She finished at one-over overall.
Mission Flight
Ashley Stone went wire-to-wire in the Mission Flight and won her first SCGA title in dominant fashion. After a first round net-72, she saved her best golf for the final round with a net-67 to finish at five-under and six strokes better than her closest competitor.
