The SCGA Women’s Amateur Net Championship took place alongside the SCGA Senior Women's Amateur this year at Omni La Costa Resort, featuring ladies of all skill levels from across the Southland! Out of the 60 women on the leaderboard, only two went home with the glassware!
Arroyo Flight
Moine Kim (+2) took the title in her flight after a card-off against Gillian Mendoza. Not too far behind was Alesia Barry (+3,) and last year's contender Mikie Alpert (+4.)
Mission Flight
Miki Edwards (-5) was a sure-fire champion in this flight with her home-course advantage as an Omni La Costa Resort member, winning in her flight with a shocking 7-stroke lead! On top of her five birdies in the second round, she had a killer eagle on No. 2. Behind her we saw Vida Vela and Bridgette Morgan, both finishing at 2-over par.
