Conditions were excellent and spirits were high at Desert Willow Golf Resort as players gathered for the 2026 SCGA Mixed Team Championship. While golf is always rewarding as an individual sport, there's something special about sharing the experience with a teammate. Created to celebrate camaraderie, friendly competition and the game itself, the championship offers a welcoming opportunity for golfers of all genders, ages and skill levels to team up, make memories and enjoy one of the SCGA's most unique events.
Arroyo Flight
Lindsey Park and Zude Xu, champions of the Arroyo Flight, were some of the youngest players in the field. The duo carded an impressive 17 birdies over two rounds, securing the win at 16-under-par and 3 strokes ahead of the runner up.
Mission Flight
Mission Flight champions Jennifer and Brian Cole captured the title with a team score of 10-under par. The victory was especially sweet, as the mother-son duo prevailed in a two-hole playoff against former event champions Mary Budke and Doug Logan.
Pacific Flight
Jesse and KK Beecher captured the Pacific Flight title at 14-under par, finishing just one stroke ahead of their competitors. With a pair of net 65s and three net eagles over the course of the championship, the duo cruised their way to victory.
San Andreas Flight
David and Gina Hutchison won the San Andreas Flight in a card-off against Richard and Debby Waitschies after both teams finished at 11-under par. The team tallied an impressive 14 net birdies over the two-round championship to secure the title.
