Cindy McConnell and Michelle Lint were one of two teams to post both rounds under par at the 2022 Women's Four-Ball Championship at Mission Hills CC.
The other team was comprised of Kathy Kurata and Caryn Wilson. The two teams battled over 36 holes, trading leads at the top of the leaderboard as each fired a three-under 69 to start. They remained deadlocked at the top as the back nine approached. It wasn't until McConnell sunk consecutive birdies on Nos. 12 and 13 that a solo leader was established, which eventually led them to victory.
McConnell and Lint, members of PGA West Private and Las Posas CC, respectively, finished at five-under to secure their title by one stroke.
