Christmas came early for Matt Rafter of Industry Hills GC, going home with hardware as champion of the 44th SCGA Tournament of Club Champions at The Oaks Club at Valencia.
Despite the tough playing conditions, only three bogeys were scattered throughout the day, making for some smooth sailing by Rafter, finishing in the red at 3-under.
Danny Thogmartin of Mission Trails GC and Andy Alvarez of Santa Anita GC both finished behind the leader at even par.
