After earning medalist honors at the USGA Mid-Amateur Qualifier and now bringing home the hardware for the Tournament of Club Champions, It's been a breakout year for Whitney French of El Niguel CC.
With 2019 SCGA Women's Player of the Year Corey Weworski staying close behind, the competition was hot at Rancho Bernardo Inn. But, that placed no pressure on French. She had a nearly flawless scorecard with six birdies and one bogey to win by five strokes and finish as the only player under par with a score of 5-under, 67.
In second from Pala Mesa Resort was Nanette Seman (E), and three strokes behind her in third was a tie between Sherry Wright (Olivas Weekend GC), Corey Weworski (Omni La Costa) and Katie Crook (River Course at the Alisal).
